Father's Day

Gawd, it's been an absolute age since I attempted any freestyle stitching, but I've taken a break from huge shop orders to make this card for the best dad in the world!

Happy Father's Day!

PS Sorry I haven't posted any new creations on here lately - there's just not enough hours in the day!

  1. Your freestyle stitching isn't just an attempt, it's perfectly un-perfect! I love it. Do try more!
    Love, Gertie

  2. Hi Kirsty,
It is so very gorgeous - I wish I was the recipient!
    Wishing you a relaxing weekend,
    Denise x

  3. This is gorgeous Kirsty. I'm a bit phobic about freestyle stitching...I really want to try it but I'm scared! How mad is that? I'm not sure what I'm frightened of. Maybe that my machine doesn't do it and I'd have to get a new one, or maybe that I'd run amok and sew myself to a cushion cover!!!! Lots of love, Amanda xxx

  4. It looks great! I have dabbled in freestyle and must give it another go one day.

  5. That is really lovely
    Julie xxxxx

  6. I tried it the once - let's say no more!

    Love your freestyle card,

    Nina x

  7. So sweet, I am sure he will love it.

  8. Wow, I hope that stays on the mantlepiece or even framed! It is gorgeous.

I have always wanted to give freestyle stiching a go... maybe I will, when I have a spare chance :0)...thanks for sharing your great card. lou x

  9. You should do it more often, I love it.

  10. Such a cute boat, I'm sure he will love it. L x

  11. I have no doubt this will be loved when opened in the morning, you're so clever ! I'm with you on the hours in the day, any idea how to get more ?!
