Lucky me!

I just thought I would share some images of presents I was thrilled to receive for Christmas! Many available through Folksy and Etsy!

First off this gorgeous print by Inaluxe, now framed and hanging in my studio! I adore it!

Next, a fab calendar by Cornish photographer Jo Bradford of Green Island Art Studios. Here's one of my favourite pictures, though I love them all!

This gorgeous necklace by Yume Martin.

This dear little fellow sits on my windowsill. By Northfield Primitives.

Surprisingly, my father-in-law came up trumps with this rusty old tin...

...which is filled with rusty washers, nails etc! He'd collected them from his late father's workshop, and they'll be perfect for decorating my driftwood boats!

And finally, a little bit of publicity! New magazine Oh Comely ran a competition for Folksy sellers several months ago - and I was one of the winners! Oh Comely is only available in selected stockists, but if you get a chance to read it, you really should - it's a brilliant, original magazine!

    Well well well, what a haul. Good old Pa-In-Law. Maybe I'll go and have a rummage in our shed when I'm feeling brave and send you all the ironmongery which has no home. Will have to wait for BigBean to be far far away tho'... Nothing in his shed is EVER thrown away! Ax

    Wow, I love your presents :-) Did you tell people what to buy or were you exceedingly fortunate and your folks bought those gifts without prompting? Such gorgeous gifts ... especially I love the art print.
    And your dolls bed in the previous post - wowzers again! What a creation - you're a great double act! We've bought the cutest vintage dolls bed for our "one-day-they'll-be-here" adopted children ... but until they're here, I'll enjoy playing with it myself ;-)

    Hi Kirsty, Lovely haul from Christmas, lucky you. Really nice write-up in Oh Comely, I'm a subscriber (great magazine) and spotted you straight away. One of my egg cosies is in a coming up edition, not quite the same as a full page spread but I'm still thrilled. Hope you enjoy getting back into creative sewing, the Festive treadmill can be quite hard work can't it! Bethx
