Happy Monday guys! Thanks for all the comments on my last post, it seems it wasn't obvious that there's an online payment facility on my website! So I've added the Paypal logo - hope that will make it clearer!
I'm quite excited by my weekend creation!
Credit to Steve for suggesting using slate for the roofs! He had to cut them for me, and drill the holes for the nail chimneys.
Not only do they look quirky but they hold the roofs in place!
Available here and here! Postage is inclusive on my website, hence the price difference.
I felt very honoured to be chosen as this month's Featured Artisan on Julia Crossland's lovely blog! You can find out a bit more about me here.
That is so effective, it looks fantastic.

Stunning!
ReplyDeletethe slate works well, particularly with the nail chimneys and gives it uniformity. It's good to have a choice when making these as you can paint or slate according to your mood and drift wood!
ReplyDeleteWOW! They are gogeous

That wee cott with the red door is where I fancy living. Views over the sea towards a little island. A bakery just down the cobbled street. Sun shining and a strong breeze blowing the washing dry in my little back yard with the seagulls calling overhead.
ReplyDeleteBack to reality. Tea, ironing and a small matter of cleaning the oven. This state of affairs would never happenn in the house with the red door...
