House on the water

I could handle living here, could you?

You can almost smell the sea air and hear the waves lapping...

A washing line made from rusty tacks gives another excuse for polka dots - and a splash of colour...

...and set in a open white-washed frame. Guaranteed to brighten any room!

I've managed to make a few things this week, despite it being half-term!

This wall-hung cottage has a driftwood door and windowsills to match!

I forgot to post about these last week: I've discovered this fab lightweight polka dot linen in red and navy - perfect for more lavender fish! I think they compliment the ticking ones nicely....don't you?
Available in my Folksy shop now!

  5. I have sooooo much love for the house on the water that you made, it is wonderful!!

I absolutely love eveything about it and if I had any pennies left I would buy it for my bathroom, but alas I am pennyless and now sad that someone else will own it :(
