A nice little commission I've completed this week. It may not be instantly recognisable as Fowey, though the letters on the boat give it away...
I love all the roof tops - though it was one of my more fiddly collages (it measures about 30cm x 23cm). Off to the framers now! Hope you all have a most excellent weekend!
This is a most beautiful collage Kirsty. You have a wonderful talent. I have always loved all your collages, they have been superb, but you are getting even better if that is possible. Well done! Anne xx
Hey Kirsty if I tore up little pieces of coloured paper and tried to make a picture out of them, it would end up looking like a dogs dinner I'm sure.....
I looove what you do and this is another wonderful piece.......
Stunning!! Everytime I see one of your pieces I'm amazed they are truely inspiring creations and all made from stuff most of us just throw out!! Somehow well done seems inadequate.. Hope your having a great weekend Pene x
Hi- thanks for visiting my blog!
I live in Cornwall with my partner and 2 young sons and we all love the beach! I have a background in illustration and printmaking, but now prefer to combine my love of beachcombing, textiles and all things nautical to create unique handcrafted cards and home accessories.
So why call the blog sixty one A? It's the number of the beach hut which has been in the family for about 4 decades. My siblings and I virtually grew up there, and now our children can get to enjoy it too!
excellent, love your new piece
ReplyDeleteIt is stunning. I love how you have captured the tonal values through collage. Really inspirational work!
