A bit random, I know, but someone made a film about me!
Many thanks to Stephen Tolfrey at Studio Wallop for doing such a great job!
I would love to know what you think!
hi kirsty...just watched your film and thought it was fab....i love all the gorgeous things you make.....living in lyme regis we love all things coastal too and your houses really evoke those feelings of being by the sea.....wishing you a happy christmas x
I 'found' your blog a couple of weeks ago and I like your work very much! It's always nice I think to see the person behind the art, so yes, it's fun watching the video! I'm following you :)
Hey Kirsty, great to put a face to your blog....... The video was great, love seeing a bit about the process behind the finished item......love all your work and I could pack up tomorrow and move to Cornwall!!
Fabulous video. I love your work. I'm an avid beach comber too. I collect beach glass for my jewellery. We don't see very much washed up timber here in Australia, I suppose our coastline is so large it's spread out. You live in my favourite part of England. Thanks for all of the inspiration.
Hi Kirsty! That was so beautiful video! Perfect way to show your unique art and it was so nice to see you! Lovely photographing! Have a wonderful Christmas time! x Teje
Hi Kirsty, I thoroughly enjoyed your video - so great see who you are. You inspired me about nine months ago, when I found your blog, to do some collage work and I've been so surprised at how easy it is and how the piece just seems to come to life all on its own. Lots of landscapes etc where I live which is right on the coast in New Zealand. I also began collecting driftwood as well but have yet to make anything, the collection is growing and wish I had a shed.....maybe next year! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family....Jenny
Kirsty the video is just perfect - a very professional production and sensitively shot. You seem very relaxed and happy. I have dreamed of coming to Cornwall for many years - sadly Australia is just about as far away as you can be!
Loved your video - really enjoyed learning more about what you do. : ) You looked so relaxed and happy while you were talking. You obviously do love what you do. Your pieces are so charming. Look forward to seeing more of your work.
Hi- thanks for visiting my blog!
I live in Cornwall with my partner and 2 young sons and we all love the beach! I have a background in illustration and printmaking, but now prefer to combine my love of beachcombing, textiles and all things nautical to create unique handcrafted cards and home accessories.
So why call the blog sixty one A? It's the number of the beach hut which has been in the family for about 4 decades. My siblings and I virtually grew up there, and now our children can get to enjoy it too!

That video is so well done, it's perfectly set for your style of work. And the simple guitar music was very evocative, went well with the seascape.
