...can't stop long - got a hundred and one things to do today! I just thought I'd share some photos of these new lovebirds with you! I've got a couple of Christmas craft fairs approaching and I was torn between making some cards (these always sell well as does anything else under a fiver!), or something a little more elaborate - something that will draw people to my stand.
So I'm on a mission now to do both! I made these birds in quite festive colours as I thought they would tie in well with my robins and other goodies.
I think they would look nice in a little girl's bedroom, no? It would be nice if they sold at one of the fairs, but if not I will list them in my Folksy shop.
I think the details are my favourite part...
This last picture makes me think of sweets for some reason!
Hope you're all well - and a huge welcome to new readers!
Back soon - have a good weekend folks xx

Sooooooo sweet.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the last pic reminds you of something in the Willie Wonka films? Or perhaps Toot Sweets in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?

ReplyDeleteHello Kirsty
ReplyDeleteThe birds look gorgeous in this colourway and though they look festive they would happily suit the house all year round. Just gorgeous! Good luck with all your busy creativity and I hope that you do really well in the forthcoming fairs!
Have a lovely weekend,
Denise x
Mmm. I hope it doesn't sell. We have to decorate Smaller's bedroom after the Great Ceiling Disaster and I'm thinking that it would look rather right hanging in there...
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, you know how much I really love your collage header but I am missing your beach huts and grey skies.
Have a great weekend Missus, Ax

Oh I love the shapes of your little birds. They're charismatic - and they remind me of seaside sticks of rock.
ReplyDeleteBest of luck for the fair, have a great weekend! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but it made me cackle when I read about selling heaps of stuff for under a fiver at fairs...how true!! Anyway, love the birds, stunning as always x x x
ReplyDeleteooooooohh. I swooned to see these two. I adore mine SO MUCH and have them hanging above my chest of drawers where I can visit them every time I dress and undress. Happy person who goes on to own your new festive pair. Helen x
